Part of Series

Payne comes by his road name legitimately and for more than one reason. One of those is his need for pain mixed with pleasure. He doesn’t ever fully have that need fulfilled at the MC’s compound, so he visits a special club in Nashville when the need is strong. It’s during one of those visits, while he’s putting on a show for others, that a woman captures his attention. Immediately, he’s drawn to her and needs to know her, but when he goes to seek her out, she’s gone. It’s his desire to see her again that has him going back until finally he meets her. She’s totally innocent when it comes to what he wants. His decision that night kicks off all the things to come over the next few months. Things he never imagines. Jayla was looking to appease her curiosity. In doing so, she meets a man who mesmerizes her and leads her down a path she never saw herself taking. When they meet again, there are misunderstandings, angry words, and a mad brother to dodge. Both their identities are revealed. After clearing away misperceptions, Payne finds that Jayla needs his club's help. He insists he'll be the one to help her. After all, it’s his fault for her predicament. As they spend time together, they begin to explore her new needs and what shaped Payne into the man he is and his dark desires. That exploration leads to him discovering Jayla is Payne’s Goddess and he’ll do anything to keep her and protect her. Even show someone why he earned the name Payne, both as the club’s enforcer and as a man.

An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years. I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa! My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs. I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down. Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.
