The quilters of the Shenandoah Community Church Bee are busy. Not only are they finishing a new quilt, Peaks and Valleys, for a charitable fundraiser, but together and individually they are working on other quilts, too. As always, each quilt tells its own heartwarming story. Steps to the Altar What do you do with a quilt created especially for a wedding if the wedding is cancelled? Can Rebecca and Connor find a way to solve their problems so they can finally take the steps to the altar and sleep under their wedding quilt at last? Woven Paths When Kate Brogan's mother dies, Kate must drive her intellectually-challenged twin sister, Bejoy, from Florida to Virginia so her future can be decided. The journey opens new possibilities for both sisters, but will their paths diverge once they arrive at last? Contrary Wife Cathy Adams, bee president, refuses to go when her husband, Alf, announces he wants to leave their country home and move back to the city. When another quilter suggests Cathy create a Contrary Wife quilt, Cathy tackles the project with enthusiasm. Marriage isn't always about compromise. Will standing firm be the key to marital happiness?

I'm the author of seventy-something novels, including romance, women's fiction and mystery. When We Were Sisters debuted in June 2016, a stand alone novel about two foster sisters traveling back into their past together. I loved writing it and love the cover my publisher chose. I'm also excited about my recent series, Goddesses Anonymous, which started with One Mountain Away and was followed by Somewhere Between Luck and Trust. The third book in the series, A River Too Wide, came out in July 2014. The Color of Light debuted in August 2015. Will there be more? We'll see. I'm also putting up my newly edited romance backlist and love re-reading and updating them a bit. Last year my husband and I moved from Virginia, to Osprey, Florida, the state where both of us were raised, met, and married. In the summer we live in Chautauqua, New York. I'm a quilter, knitter, kayaker, and the mother of four children, whom I regard as my greatest creative endeavors. And now there are four wonderful grandchildren to spoil.
