Sono nata a Modena e cresciuta a "pane, libri e fumetti". Adoro i romanzi e il cinema d'avventura in tutte le accezioni possibili, dal fantasy al mystery e alla fantascienza. Allo stesso modo, amo i fumetti e i cartoni animati, l'Archeologia, la Storia e i giochi di ruolo. Non viaggio mai senza avere con me il necessario per disegnare e quando mi trovo in una città nuova (in qualsiasi parte del mondo), la prima cosa che cerco è la libreria più vicina. Pur avendo da sempre la passione per il disegno e la grafica, ho frequentato il liceo linguistico e mi sono poi laureata in Lingue e Letterature Straniere, con una tesi sul Romanticismo tedesco e le sue influenze sulla cultura italiana dell'800. Poco dopo, grazie a un master in Comunicazione e Tecnologie dell'Informazione presso l'Università di Bologna, ho potuto intraprendere la strada professionale che non avevo osato iniziare prima e oggi lavoro felicemente come grafico, web designer e, a volte, come illustratrice. Il mio esordio nel mondo dei libri avviene nel 2006, con il romanzo Hyperversum (Giunti), primo dell'omonima saga.
