Chicago is gone, completely obliterated, and with it, tens of thousands of lives have been wiped out. The guilt of this threatens to crush Dez, but he can't afford to buckle. War has come, and Huginn is relying on Dez to help lead the army. Layla, about to have their baby, is relying on him too. Dez is faced with not only fighting a war, but with confronting the demons within his own mind and soul, as well as the greatest threat of all, his own body.
