Piston… As the VP of the Soulless Kings MC, I know what life has in store for me. Violence, blood, destruction… death. I’ll either die as a result of my sins or because my Harley turned on me. With all of the chaos that surrounds me, there is zero room for anything permanent, certainly not a woman. Bangin’ Betties and one night stands have served me well and will continue to do so until I take my last breath. But what if they don’t have to? What if I meet someone who makes me want things that should be impossible? Holland is not at all like the women I’ve known my entire life. She’s smart, beautiful, innocent. When she enters my world, her perfect little bubble will be popped and I’m just crazy enough to want to be the one doing the popping. Holland… Strong, independent, smart, selfless… these are the words that people typically use to describe me. My career in journalism has afforded me many opportunities and taken me places that most would never want to see. But when my father gets sick, I give it all up to return home and cover local news. Life is good, as good as it can be. Until the story of a lifetime lands on my desk and flips everything upside down. The Soulless Kings MC have never hidden from the news but they certainly do what they can to put their own spin on things. But they can’t this time. Not if I have anything to say about it.
