Brie came with Emily when she moved in, a teenager without her father. I didn’t mind, wanting to provide for her in a way that it seemed like nobody ever had. I was going to marry her pretty mom and make a family for her. I knew that there was going to be trouble when I got alone better with Brie than I did my own wife after just a few months. Once I learned that Emily was cheating and only using me for money, it made all the sense in the world to kick her out but Brie asked to stay.
