Tech billionaire Elizabeth Pollock awakens to find herself strapped to a wooden pole in the middle of a clearing in the dark heart of the Amazon. Surrounded on all sides by tall trees and dense vegetation, she soon finds out that hidden within this ancient and primeval rainforest are creatures thought to have died out hundreds of millions of years ago.
