Set in and around the Black Country and Birmingham, 'Privacy Settings' tells the story of a voyeuristic invasion of privacy. Bruce, an all-round nice guy and IT security expert, sets up all manner of spyware and devices to ‘protect’ his close friends and family. What they don’t bargain for, is that Bruce becomes addicted to his 'surveillance project' and abuses their trust by snooping in on their personal conversations and private lives. Regrettably for Bruce, as his obsession grows, he discovers a great deal more than he bargained for. Culminating in a shocking murder, Bruce’s life begins to unravel and he unexpectedly finds himself wondering if he ever truly knew any of them at all.
