Less Broken
2020
Theon After I trusted the wrong person, I ended up in a giant mess and clueless how to get out of it alive. I should have been hesitant to let anyone get close to me after that. Then along came this mystery man. I couldn’t stop thinking about him, even though I knew nothing about him. Not even his name. He came crashing into my life entirely too fast and I couldn’t run from him. Honestly, I didn’t want to. He was beautiful when he forgot the darkness that consumed him inside. I felt safe and protected with him. Until I found out who he really was. In one single night, he made me come alive, and then broke my heart. As fast as he came into my life, he was gone, and all I wanted was to be in his arms again. Cade I was sent to watch over him from the shadows, not get close to him. From the moment I stared into Theon’s eyes, I was caught. I knew I shouldn’t have approached him, but that was exactly what I did. I pushed myself into his life. I told myself it was to keep him safe, but deep down, I knew better. Theon trusted me when he shouldn’t have. And I… I took that trust and ripped it to shreds. If he knew my real connection to him and why I was there, I’d lose him. But I was too far in to turn the lie around. Even knowing he’d never trust me again once he found out the truth.

Love Glitch

Reed Rich. Successful. Genius. Playboy. That was what I was known as. How most people saw me. Gay. That too. And yes, I was all of those things—or at least had been at one point—but they didn’t make up the whole me. However, those were the things the media latched onto. It was the only the parts I let them see. It was hard for me to trust people. Most of the time I’d learned they were only out to get something from me. It was that way of thinking that had me running from the best thing in my life. Except, I didn’t know how much Tony meant to me until I no longer had him around. While my heart was broken, along came Keith. Something about him pulled me in instantly and I couldn’t seem to get him out of my head. But, I never should have let Keith in while I was still trying to get over Tony. My heart was confused and I couldn’t understand how I had strong feelings for two men at the same time, nor was I sure how to deal with it. The thing was, the three of us were more connected than we ever knew. And when it all came crashing together, I was forced to realize that I’d never messed up anything more in my entire life. But now I had a chance to fix it However, there was no way we could have been ready for the things that would be uncovered. \

Unspoken Confessions
2021
Nick There were always eyes on me. It came with the job. Which meant that I had to watch every single thing I did. All the time. I always had this huge part of myself buried so deep inside that I felt like a fraud most of the time. Everything was going according to plan until him. The stranger across the dark club pulled me in with his intense eyes. I thought it was for the best that he left that night before I could find out who he was. Then he showed back up in my life as my newly-hired bodyguard. Something I could easily tell he wasn’t happy about. But the more time he spent around me, the more I could tell he liked me. I didn’t need his words to know that. And the thing that sucked was that I started to really like him too. Just when I started to think the only threat surrounding me was putting my heart—and possibly career—on the line, I was reminded just how dangerous being a celebrity could get. Jameson I didn’t speak by choice. But that didn’t stop Mr. Movie Star from understanding the deepest parts of me. I wanted to hate this job, I wanted to hate him. Except the more I was around him, the harder I fell for him. Which was something I wouldn’t allow myself to do. I didn’t deserve it. Just focus on the job, protect him. I told myself that time and time again. But he quickly became more than a job and though I knew he wasn’t ready for what I wanted to give him, I was willing to take what I could. I was there to protect him. There was one little problem though, I had to keep him in the dark about how serious the threat really was. And when the danger started closing in, I feared I might not be able to save him.

Though he left me not long after saving me, he had never been far away. However, I was too messed up to give someone any part of me. It didn’t matter that I was free, I couldn’t find a way out of the darkness. Roland was always there, watching out for me from the shadows. My Dark Savior. He protected me, even in my nightmares. All I wanted was for him to stay, even though I should have pushed him away.

Unexpectedly Wanted
2022

Remy. Just his name alone made a rush of anger burn through me. I hated him. Just like he hated me. Oh, that smug look on his face that said he could do everything I could do better was always there. So, if I hated him so much, then how did we end up fake boyfriends? That was a question I constantly asked myself. Still, I went along with it. It wasn’t believable. Actually, it was downright laughable. But the more I got to know him, the more I realized that I might have been wrong about him. All my life I’d felt invisible. With Remy, it was the opposite. I didn’t know what to do with that or the feelings that might have come along with it. There was a chance it didn’t matter, though, since I realized how much I cared about him a little too late. Will I tell him how I feel before the danger of our job catches up with us? Or will I die leaving him to think that I still hated him?
