R.A. Mizer was born in India and brought to the United States by her parents at just six-weeks-old. She has two younger sisters, Sarah and Rebekah. She has been writing ever since she could pick up a pencil, penning her first novella at age 10. (One that will *not* be published.) Ever since then she has had a love affair with writing. It allowed her to escape from my stressful childhood and go somewhere else- or be someone else. Her parents settled in North Carolina, where she was raised. She now lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband (and high-school sweetheart) James.
