About the Author: R.W. Frazier is a retired petroleum engineer, living in Houston, Texas with his wife of 54 years. He has three grown children and five grandchildren, all in the Houston area. Frazier was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and raised in Pampa, Texas. He earned his college degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech in 1967, then worked ten years for Exxon and affiliated companies in various engineering and management jobs at several locations. In 1977, Frazier joined the international consulting organization, Miller and Lents, Ltd., eventually becoming a director and a principal officer of the firm. He has worked on some of the most important oil and gas fields in the world and his clients included many of the largest companies, both foriegn and domestic. He retired as a full time employee in 2010, but continued work as a part-time consultant for two more years. The Plan is Frazier’s first novel. He has written many technical reports, documenting studies for clients, and had major editing responsibility for the written communications of more than twenty others in his firm for years. He loves spending time with his grandchildren, watching football, working out puzzles, and playing card games or backgammon.
