Called batshit crazy and most likely to commit murder and get away with it, Dunn is nothing like any one of the characters she describes in her books. She does enjoy reading and writing about distressing folk, however. She also enjoys teaching people, so she makes a living teaching writing skills to adults, wine drinking/tasting skills to drunks, and bullshit skills to the youth of tomorrow. Her superpower remains being able to make mechanical things run well beyond their usefulness. R. A. Dunn currently lives in Chicago with an orange car, a great window seat, and an obscenely bright cat named Monkey. This duo hopes to escape to the country later this year (and eventually retire to another COUNTRY entirely). Maybe they will get sunburns, maybe not. They will definately have geese. And a garden.
