Ramona Reeves' interlinked story collection, It Falls Gently All Around and Other Stories, won the 2022 Drue Heinz Literature Prize. It also won the 2023 Sergio Troncoso Award for Best First Book of Fiction from the Texas Institute of Letters. The Washington Post highlighted it as one of 10 award-winning collections to read. Reeves has been awarded an AROHO fellowship, a residency at Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and the Nancy D. Hargrove Editors’ Prize. Her writing has appeared in The Southampton Review, Bayou Magazine, Pembroke, New South, Superstition Review, Texas Highways and others.
