Accept My Word

2020

A sweet historical romance set in the 1890s. Rancher Moses Brenner needs to decide whether to stay working on his adoptive grandfather's ranch or pursue a new career. He leaves the ranch for a week to travel to western Kansas, hoping to find the graves of his parents, who were victims of a wagon train attack twenty years ago. Faith Geller's life has been overshadowed by the graveyard in her family's pasture. She was too young to remember the attack that left several people, including some her own family, buried there, but it still haunts her aging widowed father. Faith dreams of leaving her childhood home, but she needs to stay to take care of her father, their ranch, and a motherless infant temporarily in her care. When Moses Brenner arrives to visit the graveyard and ask questions, Faith’s father's memories of the past resurface, causing problems for everyone. As Moses stays on the ranch to help out, the couple realize they are attracted to each other. But facts about their families being in the same incident could ruin a potential future together.

Believe My Word

2021

Rancher Carsten Brenner feels obligated to escort Emma Hamner on the train to Texas when his two brothers and her two cousins switch their destinations. The three couples were on a trip, paid for by their grandfathers, to explore the women’s family’s past in the Texas cattle drive history, and for the men to decide if they want to commit to life on the family ranch or pursue another career. But one couple decides to travel to Illinois to explore the 1893 Chicago Worlds’ Fair, and the other couple leaves to watch the Kentucky Derby, leaving Carsten and Emma to travel on alone to Texas. Carsten was drawn to stay and work at the Cross C Ranch because he and his siblings had lived there since Marcus and Sarah Brenner adopted them. The couple became his parents the day Carsten, one of the triplet brothers with Asher and Beckett, was born, and their widowed mother died. Emma’s stepfather, Leif Hamner, rescued Emma, her widowed mother, and two brothers after a train wreck left the young family injured and homeless in Austin, Texas, twenty years ago. Emma wants to see where it happened and find her father’s grave in San Antonio. The couple’s trip changes their perspective of their past, the present, and possible future when confronted with the truth.

Give My Word

2021

Rancher Beckett Brenner was thrilled to change his destination to escort Greta Wilerson to Kentucky instead of continuing on the planned train trip to Texas. Beckett, his brothers Asher, and Carsten, along with their neighbors, female cousins, Greta, Alva, and Emma, were on a trip, paid for by their respective grandfathers, to explore the women’s family’s past in Texas’ cattle drive history. On the first leg of their train trip, Greta read in a newspaper the Kentucky Derby was going to be held that very Saturday, and she was determined to be there in person to watch it. Beckett jumped at the chance to escort Greta and they left the group to travel on by themselves. Hilda, Greta’s mother, was a horse trainer first, a wife second, and a mother third. Greta’s upbringing meant she was an excellent horsewoman, but also a wild and compulsive tomboy. She wore Beckett’s patience thin before they even arrived at Churchill Downs. But Beckett and Greta work together when they find a scared horse and two injured people in the horse’s Churchill Downs stable stall. Instead of falling in love with each other, though, Beckett and Greta find new partners and passions while dodging danger and participating in the race of a lifetime.

Honor my Word

2021

An American historical romance about facing truth and hardship to find love. Rancher Luther Tucker would prefer never to set foot off the Cross C Ranch, but he promised his grandfather he’d accompany his sister on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Luther would never guess it would turn into a two-week camping trip in the wilderness of Montana with only a female guide while dodging bison, bears, and forest fires. Myreta Hamman took her deceased father's place as a guide on a camping trip through Yellowstone because she grew up in the wilderness, and she’d already used the pre-paid payment to bury her father. Stuck with honoring their word to others, Luther and Myreta find hard truths about themselves and each other as they face tremendous challenges in the wilderness while falling in love with each other
