My outspokenness is not for everyone. So neither is my writing. I choose to share real issues in my young adult fiction novels, and sometimes it invokes guilt in the reader. I am passionate about people, animals and nature, so my writing is aimed to shed light on these issues. Our planet is precious and beautiful, but as for society, well, it’s got a lot of cleaning up to do! Before my twenties I was addicted to writing poems and lyrics, creating an endless amount of word documents, and spending my money on yet another notebook. It was apparent; I felt more comfortable writing than speaking. My earliest writing successes occurred at age 11 and 17, when my poems were published. In 2019, I had the opportunity to write for Greenpeace, to protest against a Tar Sands Pipeline being laid over native lands in America. I had also written three books during my mid-twenties, which were certainly weird, colourful and very indulgent. But, importantly, filled with some hard truths. I’ve taken a step back from self-marketing via Instagram because I’m currently focusing on my degree; BSc honours in Combined STEM. I'm 'aiming' to attain a PhD in plant genetics, and maybe help preserve some trees and plants. You'll understand if you followed me previously. However, as writing is my first love, I will bring you an update on my next book in late 2022 Remember, no matter who you are, always be unapologetically YOU.
