
Rebecca Davis is the author of the Hidden Heroes series of missionary stories for children and their parents that tell true stories about God's work around the world. The first six are based in Ethiopia, Central African Republic; Papua, Indonesia; Southeast Asia; Colombia; and Iran. She has also written four Christian biographies for children, With Daring Faith: A Biography of Amy Carmichael (1987, Gold Medal Winner of the C.S. Lewis Award for Outstanding Christian Juvenile Literature), George Mueller: A Father to the Fatherless (2003), Fanny Crosby: Queen of Gospel Songs (2014), and Joy Ridderhof: Voice Catcher Around the World (2015). Rebecca has also collaborated with primary authors on two issues books, Tear Down This Wall of Silence: Dealing with Sexual Abuse in Our Churches (an introduction for those who will hear) published in 2015, and Unholy Charade: Unmasking the Domestic Abuser in the Church, also published in 2015.
