Part of Series

The dragons on Mistveil Island are not your run-of-the-mill kind. They’re something else entirely… In an attempt to escape Draig Island and my duties as Tribute – whatever those might be – I steal a helicopter. Probably not the best idea since I’m still learning how to become a helicopter pilot. I thought I had enough hours under my belt to be able to pull it off. Turns out that I was wrong! I crash land. I don’t think I’m on Draig Island anymore. I’m deep inside a dark jungle. At least I’m not too badly hurt. I’ll regroup and then hike to civilization. Please let there be civilization! I’m a little worried about wild animals, but I’m sure I’ll be okay. I refuse to believe in the existence of dragons. I mean, come on! Do they really think we’re that gullible? It hasn’t been more than a few hours, and a huge hulk of a man comes crashing out of the undergrowth. He’s naked, covered in tattoos, and scares the living daylights out of me. After a little while, I realize that he’s not going to hurt me. At least, I don’t think he will. Then I find out that there are many more like him in this jungle. The others are not as friendly. They all want me. Will do anything to get me, including ripping each other apart. All I have is this big, growly stranger for protection. He’s willing to help me get to safety… But he has a condition. This story contains mature themes/language. Also, be prepared for a ton of growls, dirty talk and a hard-won HEA. Hulking, skulking, foul-mouthed, brooding dragons ahead. You were warned!
