In the late 19th century a young sailor and aspiring artist, Adolf Gustav Plate, boarded a ship bound for Germany's colonies on the other side of the world. One hundred years later, his granddaughter Cassi Plate retrieved his treasures from the bottom of trunk and was inspired to set out on her own journeys, finding her restless spirit.
