Tilley's Mill is a nearly-dead town with decaying buildings. The youth are leaving for jobs in the city, and parents are bemoaning the fragmentation of the family. Leck Todd has left New York after a painful breakup. He returns to Tilley's Mill in the mountains of eastern Tennessee to his first love…training horses using Natural Horsemanship. Isabell Dunnfield, breaks down on a trip from Asheville, NC to Chicago. Leck rescues her and brings her into town. Isabelle is stunned by the ghost-like feeling of the town. Isabell returns a few weeks later with a plan to revive businesses. Leck teaches techniques he uses with horses also applies to dealing with people. Soon a former boyfriend is persuaded to bring a thriving business to Tilley's Mill and a horse is sent to Leck to train. Can Isabell succeed in breathing life into a dying town?
