Reverse Age Gap Romance
Bitter Sweet Heart
2022
H. Hunting
From the outside looking in, I live a charmed life: hockey legend for a father, my own promising future in the league, a great family, awesome friends. It’s not untrue, but it’s not quite that simple either. My dad’s advice has always been to make hockey my number-one priority—at least until I make it to the pros. So, going into my senior year of college, I have a plan. I’ll put in the effort required to pass my classes, play hockey like my life depends on it, and avoid relationships. All I have to do is stay focused on the end game, and I’ll walk away with a degree and into a career in the NHL. It should be easy. But when a woman literally floats into my dock, just before summer ends and my senior year begins, I can’t resist one last hookup. What harm could a one-night stand do? It’s not like we even exchanged numbers. Everything is fine until I run into her on campus. It’s a big school. I should be able to avoid her. Except she happens to be in my class. And she’s not a student. She’s my professor.

It was supposed to be harmless. One fake date with an off-limits football player I'd never date for real. Plot twist—Harry Westbrook is the exact opposite of harmless. My first mistake? Underestimating that boyish smile, those playful eyes, the charming words on those perfect lips. He claims to have a crush on me. But, as hot as he is, I'd bet he's scheduling booty calls like a dentist booking teeth cleanings. I'm Nadia Chester—in-house lawyer for the Paragons football team. Queen of logic and compartmentalizing. Resisting him should be easy. But then my slimy ex rolls into town, determined to hijack my favorite charity event and turn my life upside down. Suddenly, six feet two inches of wide receiver muscles might come in handy after all. I need a fake boyfriend. ASAP. Harry would make the perfect gala date. It's just one night. It's all for a good cause. What could possibly go wrong? Just about everything, actually. Because I start getting to know him. And that's when the real trouble starts. How am I supposed to resist the guy who makes late-night pharmacy runs for his grandma? And bakes cookies with his brothers? The hopeless romantic who's saving his V-card for his dream girl? And what's this magic that happens every time his lips touch mine? I'm realizing that I was all wrong about him. I thought I knew what I wanted in a man. But Harry's the wild card I never saw coming. Too bad fairytales don't last. And a hard dose of reality is hurtling toward us like a freight train. Maybe I could survive losing my reputation. Maybe even my career. But could I survive losing Harry? I'm not so sure. The Wild Card is a steamy, laugh-out-loud, opposites-attract, fake dating small town football romance. It is set in small town Iowa and is book three in the Wild Westbrooks series.

I don’t want to hurt him—I just want to punish him. It’s bad enough being the only female owner of the Salacious Players’ Club, but I’m also the only one without a kink, or so I thought. Imagine my surprise when the kink quiz suggests that I’m not so vanilla after all. In fact, I’m a lot more like Emerson Grant than I thought. Just one problem—I have no idea how to be a Domme. That is, until the app matches me with someone willing to help me learn. He’s too young for me. Too stubborn. Too good looking. And, oh yeah, my friend’s son. Beau Grant is a brat. I’d hate that about him if I didn’t love punishing him so much. Underneath all of that attitude is a man who is misunderstood, selfless, and in need of direction. But if he wants mercy, he has to earn it. There are a million reasons why I should stay away, but I’m tired of doing what everyone thinks I should do. I finally know what I want, and I’m ready to take what’s mine.
