Raymund “Rhandee” Magno Garlitos' first children’s book was called Ang Paglalakbay ni Pepito Piso, which was illustrated by an art staffer colleague in Malate Literary Folio. He wrote this to join a children’s book making contest by a publishing company. He won the contest and they published his book. He received numerous awards including four Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature.
