Growing up in Ashland, Oregon, Ria Warrick has loved to read ever since she was a little girl. Orphaned at the age of eight, she suffered abuse at the hands of a few of her foster parents and she eventually turned to drugs and men to fulfill her desire to be loved. Through her love of reading, Ria finally found what she really needed when she asked Jesus into her heart at the age of twenty-six. As an aspiring author, she was never able to complete a story since there always seemed to be something missing. She had all but given up by the time she became a born-again Christian, and she didn't pick up her writing for a long time, choosing instead to focus on her walk with Christ, college, and raising her children. She decided to begin writing again a few years ago and that was when the idea for the series Women of Faith came to her. Ria had found her missing piece. It became her mission to reach other women (men too) who have not had the perfect life and to share with them the love of Jesus. She wants to help them to understand that no matter what they may have done, no matter where they are in life, they are still loved unconditionally. Currently, Ria is a divorced mother of three, as well as an author, and in her spare time she has been writing more novels for the Women of Faith Series as well as a Young Adult Science Fiction. She lives in Medford, OR with her two youngest children and her very first grandbaby.
