Ric Brady is a British author, playwright, and interactive fiction writer. He grew up in Yorkshire, and his debut novel 'Murder on a Yorkshire Moor' was published by the Book Folks in 2023. He co-wrote the plays 'The Box of Tricks' and 'A Very Victorian Scandal', and his interactive fiction series 'Lady Justice' was one of the top ten most-read stories on the Tales app. Ric started reading crime fiction at a young age and loves the work of Ian Rankin, John Grisham, and Dean Koontz. He writes thrillers and crime fiction with a dose of dark humour. Despite living in France, he sets his stories in the north of England, as he is fascinated by its people and landscapes. When he's not writing, Ric teaches English in France. He frequently returns to the UK to soak up the atmosphere, buy boxes of Yorkshire tea, and develop ideas for future novels.
