I now live in Milford, CT, where I write fiction full-time. My novel To Gether Tales was just published by All Things that Matter Press. That same publisher did five other novels of mine, Parallel Lives, Beyond the 4th Door, Nevermind, Breeze, and Shakespeare's Twin Sister. These novels overlap and echo in interesting ways, with stories inside stories and touches of magical realism. This is not by intent, but rather that all of them grew from my life experiences and from exploring themes that matter to me. They can be read in any order. They are independent stories, with stylistic and thematic overlaps. Each creates a different view of reality, a different way of trying to understand the mysteries of life. In addition, Red Sea Press will be publishing my translation from the Russian, Third Journey to Ethiopia 1899-1900, a sequel to Ethiopia Through Russian Eyes. I'm still looking for publishers for a book of essays (Lenses), and a book of jokes (Laugh and Let Laugh). I worked for DEC, the minicomputer company, as writer and Internet Evangelist. I graduated from Yale, with a major in English, went to Yale grad school in Comparative Literature, and earned an MA in Comparative Literature from the U. of Mass. at Amherst. At Yale, he had creative writing courses with Robert Penn Warren and Joseph Heller. I've written 22 books, including: The Name of Hero (historical novel), Ethiopia Through Russian Eyes (translation from Russian), The Lizard of Oz (satiric fantasy), and pioneering books about Internet business.
