Born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan on 20 April 1973, Nisah Haron has been writing as a hobby since 1988. She has written forty short stories, five novels, essays and a few poems published in local literary magazine and newspaper. Nisah Haron had her legal education from National University of Malaysia and graduated in 1997. She also obtained her LL.M from the same instition in 2006. She practised as an advocate and solicitor as well as a syarie counsel for eight years before becoming a full-time writer in 2006. She advocates on the copyright awareness among writers and publishers. Nisah has also written a copyright book for laymen entitled "Karya Kita Hak Kita - Panduan Hak Cipta" (Al-Ameen Serve Holdings, 2008). Her works has been received my awards including Hadiah Sastera Perdana Malaysia, Hadiah Sastera Kumpulan Utusan and many others. Recently, she won first place in Hadiah Sastera Berunsur Islam with her winning short-story, “Aset Istiqamah”.
