Rita Hillier graduated from The University of Kansas and worked as an Occupational Therapist for ten years. And while her healthcare degree was not a natural precursor to the publication of her children's books – her love for animals, writing and photography certainly were! The Christina and Rosie series has been a fun project for her and her daughters. Rita lives in Kansas City, MO with her husband and kids (and cat and dog) and enjoys traveling and being outdoors.
