Roadside Homicide
2021
When Robin Pearce came home to River Sutton for her little sister's wedding, she knew she'd run into old classmates, but not with her car. Robin cut her small town roots and moved to the big city to climb the corporate ladder. She's a little nervous about seeing folks from high school. Slipping back into small town ways is as uncomfortable for Robin as trying to squeeze into a bodycon dress. But with plenty of coffee and her own car karaoke, her confidence is high. Until a bleeding man stumbles into the road. Right in front of her car. Although Robin tries desperately to save him, he dies in her arms, gasping his final words to her. She vows to carry his message to whoever they're intended for. As soon as she figures that out. She teams up with hunky Sheriff Chris Payne, the former high school star quarterback, to track down the murderer. He warns her to leave the sleuthing to him, but when he arrests her childhood friend, it's up to her to find the evidence that will clear her. Between dress fittings, menu planning, favor making, ceremony planning, and the wedding rehearsal, Robin tries to catch a killer. Will she track down the murderer before her sister walks down the aisle?

The Disappearing Deliveries
2022
Jenn and Deb should be floating on a cloud of newlywed bliss. Instead they're sweating buckets and biting each other's heads off. And that's before they discover that one of their neighbors is stealing their deliveries. Living in a one bedroom apartment isn't working out as well as either professional woman thought. Neither wants to give up her independence, or her stuff. Add a broken air conditioner in the mix and you have the recipe for two cranky brides. The grumpy cherry on top is that the smart speaker they've been waiting for isn't at the mailbox. And a bunch of other stuff has gone missing, too. The duo become disagreeable detectives to find out which neighbor is stealing their packages. Is it the sweet, old lady? The goth hacker? Or the cheery, single dad? Once they start asking questions, they uncover more secrets than they bargained for. But will they put their own differences aside and rediscover the romance between them?

A Fatal Fumble
2022
\
Award-winning murder mystery\
Only one thing would drag Robin Pearce home to River Sutton, West Virginia for the high school's 100th homecoming seeing her sister in her old cheering uniform with a huge smile on her face at the halftime show. Ogling Sheriff Chris Payne's broad shoulders in his old quarterback's jersey wouldn't be a chore, either. So, make that two things. But when Robin bumps into high school classmates at the football game, her homecoming turns into a nightmare. She literally stumbles over the dead body of her frenemy, River Sutton's top trophy wife. The whole town suspects Robin, and even Chris wants to lock her up for her safety. When she's not guzzling coffee or forced to admire fall décor with her sister, Robin uses her cyber skills to uncover the River Sutton's killer before they can end her time as an amateur sleuth. Permanently. Is it the desperate soon-to-be-ex-husband? Or the greedy land developer? Or someone else hidden in the shadows? More Praise for A Fatal Fumble This is a great mystery. The suspects and clues are seamlessly woven into the story told from the main character Robin Pearce's point of view. The story is set in a small town called River Sutton that is very easy to picture given the excellent imagery that Nancy Basile uses to describe it. There is great character development and continuation of plots from the first book in this series called A Roadside Homicide. Looking forward to reading River Sutton #3 ASAP! - Wendi O., Amazon Reviewer Nancy's books are an easy read and suitable for teen readers. I love reading about the Ohio valley and trying point the locations. - Chuck L., Amazon Reviewer
