Robert Bruce Cormack spent 36 years in advertising before writing his novel "You Can Lead a Horse to Water (But You Can't Make It Scuba Dive) "http://skyhorsepublishing.com" His short stories have appeared in numerous magazines including Rosebud "http://www.rsbd.net/NEW/index.php" and "Voices," an anthology of short stories put out by the Writers Institute of New York. Robert appeared on the masthead of Rosebud Magazine #38 along with Ray Bradbury and Jewel. In 1993, a cubist sculpture of his advertising campaign for The Globe and Mail newspaper appeared at The Art Gallery of Ontario. Robert's first novel takes place in Chicago, his favourite city because the river flows the wrong way. "It seemed like the perfect place," he says, "since most of my characters go the wrong way."
