Robert is a longtime resident of New Mexico. He has traveled extensively studying the history and culture of his home state as well as Arizona and West Texas. His love of factual stories that are geographically, historically and physically plausible add reality to his books—be they historical fiction or contemporary action stories. His writing background includes a little newspaper reporting and being the editor and producer of a national trade newsletter. His books are written from a positive moral perspective with the desire to not only inspire interest, to inform and entertain, but to also encourage introspection. A 2012 bout of stage 4 oral cancer has left him slightly limited in his daily activities, but has served to intensify his passion to write high quality, uplifting fiction.
