Robert Ronsson lives in the Severn Valley with his wife Valerie. They have three children and two grandchildren. Robert retired early from his career in financial services to start writing full-time. His first novel No Mean Affair was the result of research into his father's belief that he was the illegitimate son of a famous Glasgow politician. Robert's interest in cinema led him to write Out of Such Darkness which was inspired, in part, by the film Cabaret. This was followed by the second in what is now The Movie Series of novels, Once Upon a Time in Chinatown. Robert and Valerie help run a community cinema in their town.
