Roberto G. Ferrari lives with his wife, his daughter, his son and his two cats in Milan, Italy. He has traveled extensively for pleasure and business, and he has a particular interest in non-Western cultures. He is an economist who has worked for multinational companies and he has a passion for history which he studied at the University of London. He and his family spent twenty-five days in China to adopt a young Chinese boy. He had also the possibility to explore the country and view it through the deeply personal lens of his son’s connection to his culture and homeland. The experience was so intense and gratifying that he decided to write a book about it.
