Roger Andersen grew up as the son of Norwegian immigrants. The families and the culture were closely assimilated. He went on to graduate from Wheaton College (BA) and Oregon State University (MBA). He worked for PepsiCo for 15 years in management role. He later led four successful turnarounds for struggling companies, including Tonka Corporation, Rollerblade, Young America, and The Bob Pike Group. He is the author of The Executive Calling and The Immigrant's Journey. He splits his time between North Carolina and Minnesota these days. He's been married for 48 years, has two daughters and three grandchildren.
