From the day I received my first diary in the second grade, I've been in love with the written word and the power it has to touch, stir, and reach from the depths of one soul to another. Though for a time (about 25 years) I dabbled in nonfiction, my heart has found a home in fiction. My first novella, "Buried Deception," can be found in the newly released "Keep Me in Suspense" Collection. My second mystery, Digging Up Death, is available now. Cara C. Putman lives in Indiana with her husband and four children. She is a clinical assistant professor in law and ethics at Purdue University's School of Business. She has loved reading and writing from a young age and now realizes it was all training for writing books. She loves bringing history and legal romantic suspense to life. FRANCES DEVINE is first a Christian, second a Mom, grandmother and great grandmother. After that, the most important thing in her life is books.
