Ron Mohring is the author of Survivable World, winner of the 2003 Washington Prize, and four prizewinning chapbooks: Amateur Grief, The David Museum, Beneficence, and Touch Me Not. A new chapbook, Relative Hearts, is forthcoming in 2023, and a new full-length collection, The Boy Who Reads in the Trees, in 2024. Mohring lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his husband. In 2007 he founded Seven Kitchens Press, which has published over 180 contemporary poetry chapbooks in hand-tied editions.
