I am an attorney who has an elder law practice. I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Nigeria (Group VII), that is the seventh group of PCVs to go to Nigeria. I taught American English in Northern Nigeria in the mid sixties. I was lucky to live in Africa as a young man. I worked at a Government Technical Training School located on the high Jos plateau near a village called Bukuru. There to paraphrase Isak Dinesen, it was Africa distilled up through five thousand feet into the clouds where the air was cool. When you woke up in the morning you said this is where I am; this is where I want to be. I am the author of "A Song of Africa" and the produced docudrama "The trial of Phillis Wheatley."
