Ronnie Levine is an artist and writer based in Tarrytown, New York. Like Lissa, her protagonist, she paints in a traditional style influenced by the French Impressionists (see her art website, http://www.rivertownpainter.com.) With a degree in psychology but an overriding passion for art, she attended the Art Institute of Boston, The International Center of Photography, and the Art Students League of New York. Her training continued with an informal, independent study of the masters, as she copied many of her favorite works in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her original oil paintings and prints are in many private collections. She has written numerous non-fiction articles which have appeared in Westchester Magazine and local newspapers and news websites.
