Ross McMeekin is author of the upcoming story collection, BELOW THE FALLS (Thirty West, March 2024). He's also author of THE HUMMINGBIRDS (Skyhorse, 2018), a novel Literary Hub recommended for, “anyone with a soft spot for a well-written psychological thriller.” His fiction has been published widely in literary journals and magazines such as Virginia Quarterly Review, Tin House's Open Bar, Shenandoah, Redivider, and X-R-A-Y. He’s won fellowships from Hugo House and Jack Straw Cultural Center in Seattle, and for eleven years he’s edited the minimalist literary journal Spartan. He lives in a house in the trees, north of Seattle.
