General Synopsis: In a post-apocalyptic world turned medieval, the Church sends their top crusader to infiltrate a renegade scientist’s enclave and kidnap a Jesus look-alike cloned from a drop of blood off the Turin shroud. Saving the clone from being sacrificed during a mock Passion play forces the crusader to confront the truth of his own (very immaculate) conception, and come to terms with his true vocation—that of a guardian of souls. Part 1, "Runaway Nun": Double-M, a replika of Marilyn Monroe, runs away from the Harlequin Island—the last enclave of human science—and alerts the Holy See about the existence of the J-Clone (her lover) and the upcoming Easter Pageant. The Pope summons Father Elano, the Church’s top enforcer, to interrogate Double-M. Also, it's about time we meet Sir Gottfrey, the man with boxed organs.
