Desperation can make a woman do questionable things. In my case, that means breaking into the houses of the obscenely rich in order to steal valuables. I need the money, and I only take from those that have more than enough already. It might be wrong, but at least I’m not hurting anyone. Then, I’m tasked with stealing a priceless family heirloom from a member of the Bratva. Bad idea? Definitely... But the money is too good to say no. The problem is that I underestimate my enemy. Roman shows up at my home, demanding his property back. When he discovers that I’ve already handed it over to the person that hired me, I’m recruited to help him get it back. Somewhere along the line, anger and coercion turn to longing and burning desire. Surrendering to the temptation of him is easy, but the gruff mafia man isn’t easy to connect with. Will he open up enough to allow us to become something more? Or will we part ways once he has his precious artifact back? Most importantly, am I completely in over my head?
