Ryan Donnelly (1979) was born in Duncan British Columbia, Canada. Regarding art as his form of therapy, Ryan has spent a lifetime creating emotionally driven work through both his photography and writing. An INFJ and certified Empowerment Coach, Ryan has made it his focus to help others who feel as if they have a story to tell, tell that story through working alongside them to create and publish their own work. Approaching art from an authentic space and a desire to heal and transform through his life experiences, Ryan’s poetry and prose often touch on difficult emotional topics that lead to inspirational moments filled with gratitude, love, faith, and hope. Above all, Ryan uses his love of writing to connect with others through our common desire to connect with the world around us. A note from the author reads “Writing is where I find myself, it is the space where I can channel my emotions into something tangible, empowering, transformative, and healing. Writing is, in a word, hope. And I can only hope that my work may resonate with the reader at a time when they may need to hear my words the most.” Readers who have enjoyed his raw poetry & prose book conversations with ghosts will be happy to know that his heart has found better days, and this inspirational journey can be discovered in his latest book ‘The Ember’ Poetry and Prose inspired by that little spark of hope that rests deep inside.
