I'm a native Californian who has lived in Washington State and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. A lifelong reader, I was hooked early when my aunt would give me adult-level books to read as a child, then help me read the hard words. I used to prop a big, fat novel on my desk at school for everyone to admire. Pretty embarrassing to remember that, but funny, too. I especially remember reading "Advise and Consent" (Drury) when I was 10. "The Lord of the Rings" so enchanted me as a 15-year-old, that I wanted to live in that world and never come home. I'm a latecomer to m/m romance and erotica. Carrying around erotic same-sex material wasn't something I could do, but when digital readers came out? Well, then the world opened up. Now that I have left work as a mental health counselor in a state prison, I am pursuing a career in writing. With a hell of a lot of more work, I just might improve to the point others will be entertained by what I produce. And, I'll have a lot of fun along the way.
