As a former competitive figure skater, S.C. Kate grew up in rinks and loves them as settings for her contemporary sports romance stories. She lives in metro-Detroit and still frequents arenas to cheer on her siblings during hockey games. When not writing, she is obsessed with outdoor skating, iced coffee, and traveling around Northern Michigan.
