SA Ellis is a native of grey-skyed Great Britain, and grew up in the rather flat landscape of Suffolk. She dove into reading from an early age and that, coupled with an active imagination, led her to spend more time in fictional worlds than in her real one. She worked as a freelance writer for nearly seven years before deciding to focus on her own novels. Her first, Disremembered, was published in the autumn of 2016. Currently working on her second novel, while studying for a master's degree, she spends most of her time in front of computer screens or huddled over books.
