S.H. Marr started writing young, decided to become an author in middle school, and pursued an education in creative writing. Hir lifelong love of fantasy and science fiction was oftentimes at odds with hir instructors’ focus on literary fiction, but despite the discouragement, ze wrote hir first novel during hir sophomore year of college. Ze completed hir Bachelor’s in English between writing and attempting to convince hir friends to play outdated tabletop games. Currently, ze lives outside of Chicago.
