S.S. Duskey retired from law enforcement with over 20 years of experience. She resides in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana with her husband, Steve, and fur baby, Rose. Rose and her late canine companion, Saki, are Sharon's inspirations for writing, not to mention her adventures throughout her career. As a dog lover, Sharon wanted to pay homage to her fur babies, Saki and Rose. Instead of writing about her K-9s, she brings them to the human world. Sharon draws character's names from her own dogs and those she meets along the way. When she is not plotting mischief, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and furry children in the outdoors of the beautiful Bitterroot.
