I spend way too much time making up stories in my head. I make up stories to go along with songs on the radio, I change and add to stories I read/watch, before going to sleep I play out a whole movie I create in my head. That last one was how The Searcher’s Lament came to be. Usually, I’d make up different stories, but night after night I came back to this same one until I thought myself, “Why not write it down?” So, I did. And that’s how I came to be a writer. I never really thought about being a writer. But, it fits. I enjoy creating stories. I write New Adult Fantasy with various subgenres - Science Fiction, Romance, Action & Adventure, Thriller, and more. My mission in writing is to connect with people. Stories have touched my heart and shaped my life, and I hope to connect with others in such a meaningful way. I live in rural south Georgia with my two daughters, Jane and Adiana. They fill my life with joy and meaning. They attended my graduation from Georgia Southern University, where I studied societies and cultures. When I’m not writing or working, I’m creating new experiences and memories with them. I’m not sure where our journey will take us from here, but I sure am glad to have them journey with me!
