I was born July 1992 in North London. When I was ten my dad bought me Beyond the Deepwoods (by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell) to read on a school trip. It was that series, The Edge Chronicles, that gave me an emotional connection to reading. I started writing from a young age, and as you would expect, my first attempts were awful. However, I persisted. The escapism drew me in, the opportunity to create new worlds gave me joy. So, I wrote. And wrote. Eventually I ended up with The Wolf Throne.
