
Sarah M. Wells is the author of American Honey: A Field Guide to Resisting Temptation (2022), The Family Bible Devotional Volume 2: Stories from the Gospels to Help Kids and Parents Love God and Love Others (2022), Between the Heron and the Moss (2020), The Family Bible Devotional: Stories from the Bible to Help Kids and Parents Engage and Love Scripture (2018), Pruning Burning Bushes (2012), and a chapbook of poems, Acquiesce (2009). Poems and essays by Wells have appeared recently in Ascent, Brevity, Full Grown People, Hippocampus Review, The Pinch, River Teeth, Under the Gum Tree, and elsewhere. Sarah's poetry and essays has been honored with four Pushcart Prize nominations and six notable essay listings in the Best American Essays 2018, 2017, 2015, 2014, 2013, and 2012. Sarah is a freelance writer and content writer for Root & Vine News and God Hears Her, a publication of Our Daily Bread. She graduated from Ashland University with her MFA in nonfiction in 2015. She resides in Ashland, Ohio with her husband, Brandon, and their three children, Lydia, Elvis, and Henry.
