Sarah Mensinga grew up in Canada and now lives in Texas with her husband, three kids, and two cats. She recently illustrated Heather Avis’s picture books, Everyone Belongs and Different: A Great Thing to Be! (a New York Times bestseller), as well as the Trillium Sisters series by Laura Brown and Elly Kramer. In the past, she’s contributed comics to various anthologies, including Flight, and worked on animated projects such as The Ant Bully, Escape from Planet Earth, and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron. When she’s not writing or drawing, she loves playing board games and going for walks with her family.
