Scoring Chance – When a hockey player is in a bar after a game. Just kidding. I’m Rhett Crawford. I’m a player, not a PLAYER. I’m not even on the official Miners roster. Yet. You see, the NHL only allows you to have two goalies. That leaves me in the stands at every home game and twiddling my thumbs when the team is away just biding my time. Do I wish I were on the ice with the guys? Hell yeah, but in the meantime, I’m going to take it as a chance to learn as much as I can. Eden Snow is a distraction I wasn’t counting on. One I can’t ignore. The kind with plump juicy lips and doe eyes the color of chocolate. The problem? My team captain told me she’s off-limits. Eden is forbidden fruit. The kind you need to sink your teeth into. Bite after delicious bite. Eden may not know it yet, but I’m about to tempt her. I just hope she’ll take a shot on me.

I never thought that I would write a novel, although my English teacher my freshman year in college told me that he would hunt me down if I wasn’t published by the time I was thirty. Thirty came and went. I was busy being a wife and working mother of two and nobody came looking for me. I doubt my sister thought she was about to change my life forever when she got me a book of “Mommy porn” for my birthday in 2012, but that’s exactly what she did. After reading the first book in the trilogy, I rushed out and got the other two books. I became obsessed and read the series several times before learning about Fanficiton. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t get enough. The idea fascinated me and I thought, “I can do that.” I was a nervous wreck when I posted my first story, a one shot about my new favorite couple. One story lead to another and then another. My readers encouraged me to write something original, so that‘s what I did. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me. I couldn’t have done it without you. I love reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with my family. Thank you for going on this journey with me.
